What about California the Sunshine State. HS running doesn\'t get any better than the CA state meet! We\'ve got so many great runners competing at colleges around the nation. The college program should be better state-wide but Stanford isn\'t too bad. Chico State has beaten Willamette and Eastern Oregon this season, and Davis, Cal Poly SLO, and Santa Barbara are solid.
Oh great. Chico State beat Eastern Oregon AND Willamette University. Well, last I checked EOU and Willamette had no athletic scholarships and Chico State did. I would hope that a top ten Div. II school would be able to beat a top level NAIA and Div. III program. Most can't, but if Chico's ranked in the top ten in Div. II, they should be able to beat the top Div. III program (which has no athletic scholarships).
As far as California being a great running state with huges amounts of talent, you can't really argue with that. California IS the largest state in the U.S. so you would hope that their state meet is something worth watching.
Once again you are deemed retarded. I don't give a damn about what anyone looks back and says. I was just interested to know what other people thought on the subject. Some people gave their honest opinions and actually directed thme to the question at hand. (Deepest state now!) I realize that may have no significance to anyone except me. That's fine, I still want honest opinions. Unlike you I don't need someone else to come up with a topic to debate.
