Imagine what it would look like if HGH made the top of the cranium grow instead of the jaw. Encephalitis instead of some kind of underdevelopment that you just feel sad about.
She likely has fibrous dysplasia involving her mandible (jaw). The Elephant Man was said to have the same condition; in his case it involved more of his facial bones and additional bones elsewhere in his body.
