Question: Galen Rupp is looks and sound as much like a female as Caster Semenya does a male.. Why isn't his gender in question?
Galen had a bad race, get off his back for it. 27:3x aint bad on any day, but he did expect more.

Isn't that testosterone level reason enough to DQ Caster?
I don't know what the IAAF's standards are, but the average male has considerably more testosterone than that.

Don't they actually test the testosterone to epitestosterone ratio (T to E) and not just the absolute levels?
Mary Decker was in trouble back in the day for having too much testosterone in her system.

I believe this just triggers more tests.
kind of funny about the zero tolerance for male-ness is fetal microchimerism. About 50% of women who had a male child have cells with Y chromosome all over their bodies. I guess a little PCR would disqualify a bunch of female athletes who had a son.

has semenya had a kid i doubt it, than your argument holds no weight in this issue.
Women who have had sons only have the Y cells in their uterus.
Hermaprodites that grew up with microchimera conditions have Y cells all over their body, including muscles and sex organs.
And where in the IATA rules does it say a competitor has to be entirely female? you all just making that up. There's no such rule
WTF is the IATA?
congenital adrenal hyperplasia - my call

IATA is the airline ticket price fixing cartel.
They test stews to make sure they are fems.
my bad. i meant iaaf.
anyhow where is the iaaf rule that says a competitor must be entirely female as is being reported. i don't see it anywhere in the iaaf regualtions.
If no such written rule about being all female exists then he/she should not be disqualified

Well then I'll run as a female next time and maybe my world class kick will work out better than it did a few days ago.
Of course you could, since I have yet to see an IAAF written rule that says you cannot. The only thing is that if I were you I wouldn't. I don't know how you would be able to live with the humiliation of women beating you so soundly.

I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and say that (s)he looks like me, and I'm considered fairly muscular for a MALE runner.

Come on. I know exactly what I'm doing.
I just saw a picture of the women's world record holder at 800m. Now those are muscles. As women they probably need more muscles to even approach male times.
