First of all I am not taking a run at the "Joe" theory. I am merely asking a question, mainly because I have never bothered to thoroughly read Lydiards works.
I know that ideally you would start with the 20 weeks of low aerobic work. My question is this. Does interspersing weekly moderate paced runs (to break the boredom mostly) alter the adaptation of this period?
I am really considering spending a buildup period, but am not too keen on the idea of not running anything moderately quick for several weeks.
JTupper I am very interested in your oppinion on the same matter.
