The first four at the US championships were Clark, Gall, Wright, and Vessey. Clark is the only one of those that has an A (2:00.00). So...

Presently: Clark and Gall would be going to Berlin. Willard with an A could theoretically petition to do the 800 also, but I'm not sure how that would work.

Gall gets an A: Clark, Gall, and Wright would be going to Berlin.

Anyone else that ran the 800 at the US championships getting an A would join Clark and Gall on the team, assuming Gall doesn't get the A.

Hadn't USATF said you had to get in the top four in their Championships to be in contention to go to Worlds? Correct me if I'm wrong, I was told that Sara Slattery actually had the "A" standard in the 5000 but she only was 11th at USATFs so that ruled her out for Berlin.

Slattery has a B. I think that they are letting everyone chase, but there are only a handful of events that don't have at least 2 A's and a B.

I don't know how Phoebe Wright isn't the story of the day/week!

2.5 years ago her PR was 2:15. She has one more year of eligibility.

2:00.40 at a low key meet in Marietta, Georgia is incredible after her long season. Chanelle Price was 2nd with a PR of 2:01.33.

Phoebe's not the story right now because that was likely her last race for now and she won't be going to Berlin. But yeah, we all applaud the season she's had.

Maybe this race has already happened and we just haven't heard the results and I'm stating this after the fact, but in that field at Ghent, which is not as fast as in her other recent 800s, I hope Maggie realize(d) that hanging way off the pace would NOT get her under 2:00. It would more likely give her a victory in around 2:01.5.

Sopmething fishy with those Georgia Games results. How the hell do these girls face tough SEC and NCAA comp all year and run bests of @:04 and 2:05 (correct me if I'm wront) and all of a sudden after ALL that pop these HUGE pbs of 2:00 and 2:01 at basically a high school meet? I don't doubt they were timed in that, but let's get a measurement on that track!
