Upon hearing my time from the Chicago Marathon from a third party, a pessimistic former associate of mine suggested that the course must have been short. Given the slew of good times (especially mine) and Ms. Radcliffe's smashing of the former world record, he deemed that the course's changes must have made it shorter than 26.2. Any one know something non-obviously specific about such a potential scandal?
