Looks like Lagat still PRd or was mighty close to his PR

i am fine with the cut aways since they were for other LIVE action. a little different then what they do at the US meets.
give me a break...chris looks better than ever....even women look big next to africans and KB!
Like when he got 2'nd at the US trials in the 5000 last year? The 5,000 he just ran was probably the best of his career considering the 53 last lap.

Lagat was in contention -- pretty exciting race. Bekele was running scared. Didn't know how the last lap was going to play out until the very end.
WTF???
Lagat was nowhere near with 400 to go.
Speaking of weight, did that Jamaican hurdler have a baby recently? Looked like she was pretty thick around the middle

It wasn't spot on for a WR which is what they were meant to go for I thought? Went through the mile in 4 flat. I ran it faster, was about 3:55 through the mile.
I think they were shooting for about 7:25 (KB's PR). So the pace was right on (3:42/43 at halfway).

so rude. if you had made that comment about willard you wouldve been banned from the board.
Ennis-London is her name...she needs a sex check...wow!
But then Kerron Stewart looks similar, too.
El G spotting @ the meet. Guy just can't get enough of track & field.
wow felix waaay back in the 100m
Not intended as rude, but it did look like she was carrying baby weight yet, and I find it interesting to watch how the elite women return to form after giving birth, if that's the case with her.
GOD...the womens 800 is UP! CRAZY EXCITED! I DONT KNOW WHO TO CHEER FOR? DO YOU?
Ah, then I do apologise... hats off to the pacemakers.
My point still stands though, my record is off the scale. Even Kenny B has no chance. I was over a second a lap quicker than the stocky Ethiopian.
that didn't look like baby weight to me. It looked like a bodybuilder gut - you know how their guts stick out but it still has ripped muscle on top. Straaaaaange look for a woman.
I am super excited for this race!!!! Amazing field... 800 is going to be so good
not a bad run for solinsky. it would've been nice if he could've got past that french guy though. i'm kind of surprised more guys didn't run in the sub 7:40 range, but i just barely missed the race. pretty disappointed in myself. here's what i remember from what they just posted on universal live:
1. bekele, 7:28
2. lagat, 7:32
3. french guy, 7:37
4. solinsky, 7:37
5. higuero
6.

.
leonard komon 7:40ish?
james kwalia 7:44
Solinsky beat some guys with better PR's than him.
WHERE'S VESSEY?!?!?!?!
No Vessey??
she is sandbagging the start
