Although Bekele isnt in top form, (as Lagat probably isnt either) both are rounding into form and I think its the perfect time for those two to clash. Who will win and what will the time be?
Im saying Lagat in 7:31 with a 53 last lap.
Solinsky also entered in the 3k and KD will take on 1:43 guy and Beijing Silver Medalist Ismail Ahmed Ismail of Sudan.
Lagat wont run a 7:31. If the pace comes out to be 7:31 then Lagat will loose. The only way Lagat is going to win is if the pace is 7:35+ and thats the ONLY way he will win. That doesnt mean he will win. Bekele is still capable of beating Lagat off a slow pace. Do you know what Bekele rounding into form is? Its still better then every single runner in the world at top form. He just ran a 12:56 and he didnt even press untill 100 to go so he could get the world lead, just because he can.
