Yes, I agree; funny that Contador, a big-name cyclist was let off the hook so easily. The Spanish big-wigs have a history of letting their top guys slide through. As long as I have followed cycling, since the early 1980's, many times famous riders have been let off the hook, oddly, in Spain.
But, what Contador did three years ago on the Liberty Seguros team and what is happening now are almost irrelevant. Unless someone can test the hold samples and compare them to Alberto's current samples (to match DNA), I doubt anything will come of past accusations.
What I care about is a clean sport. Moving ahead, test the heck of the current guys and give them immediate suspensions. I see the Tour De France authorities already kicked out the older Filleu rider for using his inhaler without a prescription.
