Yeah BOY!!!
Yeah BOY!!!
Hell no. Merritt takes gold again this year, Wariner gets a gold only by teaming with Merritt on the relay.
I agree, I think Jeremy has a new winning game plan. Glory days are over for Merritt.
1 4 88 WARINER Jeremy 1984 SM USA00 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 45.74
2 3 85 HURTAULT Erison 1984 SM DOM00 DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 46.27
3 2 83 MILAZAR Eric 1975 SM MRI00 MAURITIUS 46.97
4 5 86 AYRE Sanjay 1980 SM JAM00 JAMAICA 47.57
5 6 84 PEREIRA Fernando 1985 SM BRA00 BRAZIL 47.99
6 1 87 MINETTO Enrico 1984 SM RM053 C.S. AERONAUTICA MILITARE 48.76
jeremy ran several bad races races last especially the BIG ONE. he has to improve but when you hide from la shawn so far this year including the nationals where he folded in the 200, no intelligent reason to think he is the better runner.
Why would you think that?
Nothing is indicating wariner is better now?
There's zero evidence to suggest Wariner can now beat Merritt

Based on the 45.7 he ran today....you are absolutely right!
where did he run that?

My high school's record is about .5 slower than that. Nice!

For Wariner it has more to do with the location of Merritt.
Either Wariner is having a blood/virus/physical problem or something, or he just doesn't have the balls to show up and compete against Merritt.
I hope that it is the former.

Agreed. I hope it's a virus.
You have to think that Wariner, who is currently training and mentored Clyde Hart and Michael Johnson, has to know that the only way he can improve and perservere is that he has to relish the competition. Even with Johnson back in 1996, his defeat to Frankie Fredericks in Oslo 200m (19.66 to 19.68), didn't stop him from winning the gold in Atlanta. Even in 1997, when Johnson lost his first race at 400m in 7 years, that didn't stop him from winning the 400m World Championships in Athens, rising above all the naysayers and doubters during that time. Wariner has to use Merritt as his motivation, in order to get better and run faster because he (Merritt) is the closest to him speed and time wise. He needs to have that same focus that Johnson had during his prime dominating the 400m....I wonder what Wariner looks like without sunglasses, before the gun goes off in his races.....hhmmmmmm......

Oh look, I can make up facts too. Alan Webb ran the first sub 4 minute mile along the Great Wall of China, which separated East and West Germany, in 1989.
(If you're dyslexic, I apologize).

I apologize for my statistical errors: Fredericks ran 19.82, Johnson ran 19.85. My statement would have declared that Fredericks equalled that World record before Johnson broke it again in Atlanta. Here is the archive link as well....asfdasfasf

Why do you hate white people?
the POOKIE strategy - dont run 400 against any one good, run events just to make a few bucks ,listen to Clyde Hart and not LR posters, scratch from Berlin race at last moment , grow hair, stay out of the sun, learn to ski.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
