say what you want about the coaching decision, but to dismiss Dorian's 3:35.23 1500m performance is laughable. The reason you go to those races is to do exactly what Dorian did. He is the 2nd fastest American 1500m runner this year and should be congratulated for sticking in a race that went out extremely hard, lagged, then picked back up. Have you seen his splits? That's not an easy way to run a race and he hung in there and performed.
If anyone has a problem with a coaching decision that's fine, they get paid to make decisions and that's part of their job. However, bringing an athlete into this and trashing them is much lower than anything else mentioned in this thread.
