Driss el Himer(2:07.02 amsterdam 2001) and 2:11 and change in 2002 at Chicago ran Seoul this spring. He wasn't tested and he heard of no other athletes being tested at Seoul. Even if there actually had been blood/urine tests taken, given the korean "business ethics" I'm sure the officials could be "asked" to look at a "fresher" sample. Korea is a country that nearly bought itself a World Cup folks(FIFA was happy to sell it for cheap promotion in asia). If these Chinese are so good, why don't they run Chicago, Rotterdam, London, Osaka Ladies, Berlin, Hamburg, NYC etc?
Jason, you're completely nuts if you don't believe these athletes aren't on drugs. Personally I think the sport should let athletes do whatever they want to do. The IAAF and race officials are clearly not applying "the law of the land" judiciously and fairly. The Chinese are drug users, these two Beijing winners are drug users. I personally don't care, but when you try to convince me otherwise....PLEASE. If she wasn't on drugs why didn't she run Rotterdam, Boston, Hamburg, or countless other races? She'd have won over 7 times as much money for the victory?
