Lots of good reading this week! Track chick, so glad things are improving. I am sure it will continue. RLAG, glad you had a fun race and some good running. NLS, impressive biking! I bet there is a lot of great scenery in your area. Darkwave (and all the ladies on this thread), I am so impressed with your mileage. I have only hit 87 once and then had the 2 stress fractures/reactions. I am hoping to get back up to high 80's again soon sometime. I felt really good when I was running high mileage. I just have to figure out the right balance, I guess.
41 miles this week for me in 5 days on a recovery week with 2 workouts. One was a 12-mile run with 8 miles at threshold pace. It was so hot and humid that day, probably over 90, and I was really happy that I hit my paces even in those conditions. I know what you mean about losing weight from dehydration, Sarah - I was at my lowest weight since 2007 the morning after! I am also doing cruise intervals once a week.
