100% agree. he's being a little bitch. race like a man, rupp. how can you even do that to ritz? he offered for you to take the lead, and you didn't do it. he lead for the upper half of the race, while you just sat on him till the last 500. you make me sick. literally.

His Goal was to win a U.S. championship, why would he lead if he thinks he can close faster than Ritz? If Ritz had the speed that Rupp had he'd be sitting on Rupp. People run their races based on what their abilities are and Rupp's ability is to close fast.

nonetheless, the pace was still pretty slow for most of it and he could of led for a while. honestly, rupp is a little biotch

Seriously? Its a race, the point of which is to WIN! How could you hold it against someone for going with the best strategy to win. Ritz offered to let him lead? That's stupid as hell, if he didn't want to lead then he should have not taken it, plain and simple. If you think what Rupp did was wrong in any way then you clearly don't understand the point of competition.

Rupp couldn't even lead for more than a lap? At Hayward? When the crowd would've gone nuts and he could've cruised a 27:3X? When Ritzenhein visibly asked him to take the pace for a few laps? Ridiculous.

If I was Ritz, I would've took Rupp to F off after the race. I heard about a race (this is heresay) a few months back where Famligietti led the whole way and Solinsky sat on him. Fam held him off, and after the race Solinsky went up to shake his hand and Fam took him to F off.

If the race is THAT easy for Rupp, you think he wouldn't mind taking the pace for a lap or two, even if he doesn't speed it up and just maintains. I hate how he races.

He didn't need to cruise any 27:3X. The point was to make it to the World Championships. Hello! Is this thing on?
