Joe Rosa, a sophomore, is quite good, enough so to be in the hunt.
Without a huge talent like German Fernandez, any kid who runs a steady 8:45 pace has a shot with a lap to go. That could be a few of them. The race should be very interesting.

The 20 year old gypsy scam artist "freshman" will win. LetsRun posters will be too PC to call him out. This "kid" should not be competing. Period.
I think it was 9:14-9:15.
i thought it was more like 9:17
Finally, that overage Lithuanian will get his comeuppance.

Really? That is the year he will graduate, not what grade he is in.

Probably was.

what's with all of the freshmen in the field?
Those numbers are referring to their graduation year, not their year in school, i.e. 09=Senior, 12=Freshman

it seems like they only started doing it that way once the years and grades matched up oppositely. 09 used to always mean freshman.
well don't i feel like an idiot now

How about illegitimate without the African contingent? Kids need to button down and swing a hammer like a real considerate individual and get with a system that won't keep stopping them from going overboard and untried without a structure or measure of viable ingredients or preparation.
Wills is 17 going into junior year. will be 19 during senior track season. So why is everyone up in arms about age/ and grade.

It's not about the dimes, it's about the digits, get it?
The other remarkable thing is while the snow and ice video was a marketing tool, running in the coastal areas of Alaska does in fact make training difficult. We had all of April's meets cancelled due to snow and had a season of three meets before regionals. Trevor ran a little more than that but in general he trains in difficult conditions like all rain forest Alaskans do. He may not be quite the talent that Fernandez is but he could be close. I suggest you folks keep an eye out for great performances from this guy
