I dunno if Groose legitimately broke your record or not (I think en route should count) but records are for chasing, not for bitching about when they're broken (or even if they're illegitimately changed). Shouldn't you be passed this stage at what, 48?
"en route" counts when it's officially timed. It doesn't count if it's casually timed by a coach. Matt's "record" was casually timed, not officially timed.
I'm not 48 yet. I'm not going to be 48 for another three and a half years!

You ran a great time and it stood a long time. But what part of 3:45 do you not get? If it was timed officially enroute, it was faster. Records are made to be broken and he ran 1500m timed faster than you did. You got beaten by a great d3 runner. That's a distinction.
Thanks for the compliment, but what part of "unofficial, casual time" do you not get? I agree that records are only officially broken when they're officially timed.
I challenge any of you to give Zupanc a phone call, or send him an email, and ask him why he disrespects me. If he says he doesn't disrespect me, then ask him why he refuses to post the legitimate 1500m record.
In the old days, when on the wall inside Kolf there was only room for a certain number of records... wait a secons. The wall inside Kolf is huge. They could list every obscure record, every english record, every metric record, and still have acres of wall left over. As for listing two records on the website- this is only a few keystrokes for the athletic department. Or can someone give me another reason why they can't list the 1500m record AND the mile record?
