I have no doubts these girls are clean, mr. troll.
I'd love to see two medals for the U.S. at women's 1500m but you have to reckon on a drugged out Eastern European plus Burka or Jamal getting in there.
Barringer closed in 14.6. That is remarkable and over the next two months she needs to go after it in fast set-up Euro races in the steeple and 5k as well, because this might very well be her career year. There just has not been very far to go once you break 4, unless you're on some horse steroids.
What bothers me is that Barringer won $5000 and because of NCAA regs could not accept. Since Rono and many others accepted money while in college ,I think that this money should be placed in a trust fund for her until she turns pro.
She is at this point beating many of the Worlds best and deserves to get the money she has won! When so many of our collegians run in Europe, do they run for free? Wes Santee had a nice gig running in 1953 in Europe for the Summer (while a collegian) surely in this day and age top flight collegians can have their money at least set aside so when they turn pro it is there waiting for them!
Ummm... ever heard of Jordan Hasay?
The one with the most love for running. It worked for Geb.
It's OK if you want to defend a runner that you like but the odds that all three of these runners are clean...? Well, the mathematics really start to work against you at that point.

Yes bc everyone knows that 1 in 3 American girl distance runners dope in 2009 after all the drug scandals have been uncovered in previous years. I know math and I will stick to my statement.
