I think he might have an eating disorder. Boy, is that dude skinny! I'm worried for him. I hope he gets some help.
he is 6ft 2 and weighs 137lbs!
light on his feet!
At a certain point it doesn't matter how old you are. 3:48 at any age is incredible.
Either he is clean or he is on something much newer than Ramzi was - and that is unlikely.

next year he will be at his best, then the year after, he will start getting slower, and before you know it, he'll be gone and there will be another one.
Its more stength in numbers. If they slip slightly there are ten guys who can take his place in the team
That's because an American birth certificate is a legal document. Africans chop a finger off and count the rings to guestimate how old they are.

Actually pretty funny :)

I don't see why it's so hard to believe he could be 19. Think of how fast Ryun ran on slower tracks as a junior. This guy likely has superior training, genetics etc.
You idiots who think he is under 20 need to do the world a favor and hang yourselves by your testicles in a hotel.
For the love of god, shut up with the bullshit that he's only a teenager.
One of my best friends is from Kenya(non-runner). He told me a few weeks ago that at his elementary school, they started the kids in the first grade when they could reach over their head with their arm and touch their ear. They did this since they didn't know the kid's ages. He is 33 and he said it is much better now then back then. But his mom is a teacher in Kenya still and says that they still don't know the exact age of some of the kids.
Who cares, 3:48 is blazing at any age.
Kiprop is 29.

Not sure how webb will "never" be a kiprop. Unless you're reffering to weight.

Webb is not, nor will he ever be a Kiprop.

Webb has a problem with being consistent and producing on the big day - In a significant final who would you bet on?
in any race now i would obviously bet on kiprop considering how webbs performance has decreased significantly. i am just saying webb has run the faster times, i realize that winning is more than a big deal, but you have to look at who has covered the distance the fastest. I am sure kiprop will run faster, but until then you cant just assume he is the better runner. I'm sure nobody thought webb was gonna fall off like he has. It could happen to kiprop too.
I agree in terms of times webb has a pretty impressive cv but has not delivered on the big occasions - Kiprop has.
Webb running a 3:55 mile at this time of the year is not all bad.
Its not a 3:48 but I would guess he still puts in a decent performance later in the year.
But with the strength of the Adult Kenyan teams is it that ridiculous to think that the junior teams might just be as dominant/stacked?
