Which is?
I'm guessing this:

No-name Vessey (& the rest of the field) ahead of Jelimo.
jelimo ran like a moron. out in 13.0 and then sprinting across the track at a right angle to the lane lines. never saw an olympic champ run so foolishly,.
I was in the stands watching Jenny and got hand splits from the race every 200 meters.
31.07
32.73 - 63.80 (400)
32.65 - 1:36.45 (600)
32.62 - 2:09.07 (800)
32.43 - 2:41.50 (1000)
31.83 - 3:13.33 (1200)
31.78 - 3:45.11 (1400)
14.56 - 3:59.67 (1500)
A remarkable bit of negative splitting.
That is really really impressive... wow...
You might have been a bit off though because the time was 3:59.90
I hand timed it. You generally add 0.24 to a hand time to compare it to a fully auto time. If you add that in you get 3:59.91. Pretty dang accurate.
Wow, VERY impressive stufff... what a smart racer. She is amazing.
Barringer's race is a great example of why I love watching track and why track is such a great sport. You never know when you'll get the chance to witness a performance like that, but when it happens there is nothing like it. As the race went on, I went from "I wonder how Barringer will run.", "Barringer is hanging in there", "Wow, Barringer is moving up well." "Holy $***, Barringer might win this thing." "3:59!!!". I was jumping up and down screaming like a mad man the last 150m. That performance/race definitely goes near the top of the best performances/races I've ever seen.
doesn't matter, she's still annoying in interviews.

http://www.adidastrackclassic.com/events-results/womens-1500-meters/The last thread about Erin was deleted
Re-watch the video of yesterday's race as Jenny and Erin embrace after the finish, now you know what John Cook knows and why one ran sub 4:00 and the other...
Just watched the video. They didn't mention Barringer once until the last 50 meters, then said she must be "awfully close" to the collegiate record. Even if you DIDN'T know what the record was, couldn't you surmise that she had broken it if she went under 4:00? Good Lord.
I just finished watching the video. And your right, the commentator did say "she may be close to the collegiate record" what a dumb ass...[quote]memememme wrote:
Huh, what do you mean? Why one ran sub 4:00 and the other.. huh?
JENNY BARRINGERS DOPING. HEARD IT HERE FIRST.
Jenny is not doping! If you track nuts followed her career Jenny ran a 17:14 5k at the footlocker regionals with very low mileage. I believe she also ran a 4:44 in high school so she was showing early signs of her potential. Jenny has progressed well and she acknowledged she was uping the miles during her red shirt. The coach has done an excellent with that young talent and I think he needs to be commended. Don't hate on the girl!!! We actually have a chance to beat the kenyans at something. I say it's a new day.
You are a complete idiot! Anyone who has known Jenny since she was in High school and knows her family would know she is NOT on drugs! Just because she can run faster than your 6 minute mile doesn't make her a doper you moron!!!
You people sure are easily hooked by trolls.
