I ran at a crap college and had too do all my training by myself. prs are 14.31 and 31.35. Im now 24 and finished college 2years. I want to go and live at some big running college and pay my rent by working at some part time job. I just want to run for a year. Is this possible to train with a college team? Or am i better off trying to find a decent running club?
This might be a viable alternative for you....
Move to Track Town USA
Become a graduate student at the University of Oregon
Join the UO Running Club coached by Tom Heinonen, a member of the US Track and Field and Cross Country Hall of Fame.
Compete in selected meets, including at Hayward Field ( Oregon Preview, Oregon Twilight)
The recent Club record is 14:52 for 5K and 31:22 for 10K, so you should be able to find some compatible teammates.
