That's *your* assumption, but it doesn't prove anything. If you have a quote from Bekele or his coach or management, that would do it. Otherwise it's just your idle speculation that he went into this race looking to PR first and foremost.

No, what I'am saying is that you can't compare gebs indoor 1500m time to bekele's outdoor 1500m time because those were two entirely different races for the reasons I just stated in my previous post. If you're going to compare their 1500m times than compare their outdoor 1500m times considering the fact that bekele HAS NEVER RAN 1500m INDOORS let alone set up a wr attempt. If he ever does than yes you can compare the two performances. Comparing gebs 1500m wr attempt against el g and bekele's outdoor 1500m pb is like comparing apples and oranges. And he wasn't WHUPPED by choge or kipchichir (sp?) he was beaten by like a second or 6 tenths of a second. That's not actually geting whupped. The little push bekele gave to kaouch was wrong but you are aware that geb was known to clip the back of athleletes hills in races aren't you? So lets not go there. Bottom line is that these two are my favorite distance runners at the moment and both have had a lot of success in the sport. It just pisses me off that so many people try to pit one against the other or try to discredit one and respect the other or try to slander both (epo). Their both great and people should just leave it at that.
jesus f***ing christ !
err...
you can't compare an 3'31i to a 3'32 outdoor ???
kennster has a 3'32pb - amaze us & convert an orange to an apple & give us that as an indoors ( plenty of sites to help you there )
getting outkicked by choge/komen2 is a whupping for a guy who's masterkicked his way to 80% of his titles - when they put the foot down they left him for dead
"little push he gave kaouch" ?
he stuck his arm out to stop him passing & then veered into the 2nd/3rd lane to accentuate it !
My God. Please tell me you understand the difference between a wr attempt and a competitve race? Because if you don't than its useless for me to go any further
someone obviously needs to explain to you that 1'52-pace is NOT a wr attempt...
dude, he's trolling you. surely.

Why don't you show me what the meaning of "remedial guy" is, in the context that you used it?
Darkness, send me a picture of yourself. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.
In fact, I take that back. Remedial doesn't do you justice. Trivially retarded is more like it. Go to school and get an education you illiterate buffoon.
8/10 you had me going
Stop arguing and watch the race:
Bekele DNF!!
slow race. bekele dropped out. pretty boring, and a very easy win for kiprop...
