I just ran a marathon PR of 2:56 off of 65 miles a week. I was wondering what type of correlation there is with mileage are marathon times. So here's some questions...How many years had you been running consistently prior to your PR (let's define this as over 30 mile per week)? How many marathons did you run prior to your PR? How much mileage were you doing leading up to it? Did you keep pace the whole way or bonk? Also include your age at the time of PR.

Started to cramp at 23. Slowed 1 mile/min.
Avg. Mileage in 10 weeks prior (not including taper): 65
Marathons Prior to PR: 2
Years Running Consistently: 1.5
