It looks like the big east meet was a real barn burner on the men's side. Und by 1/2 point over Louisville. I've been searching for articles though to read how it went down.
To me, it's pretty sad for track and field that I've been unable to read anywhere as to what transpired on day 2 of the meet and how the team title was decided blow by blow. It's a bit embarrassing and shows you how low of a priority track is at most schools that neither schools website gives one how a feel for how the meet went down and the excitement that must have been there with the score being so close.
I've searched all morning and can't find anything for how the meet took place.
Here's my question.
1) Was the 4 x 400 the last event as normally is the case or was the triple jump still going on when the 4 x 400 was run? When I clicked on "See last result" the website gave me the TJ.
I have a 2nd unrelated question.
2) In the men's 1,500, what did it go out in for 800 and 1200 or 1100. It looks like the top 2 guys were way, way out in front. I think LBP was 3-4 seconds up on third. How fast did he close?
