I'm training for an early fall marathon, so I'm going to try to keep my miles around 100 MPW for most of the summer. However, I'm really into summer road races and I'd really like to have 3-4 good ones before the marathon. Any tips on keeping my miles high and still having solid races? I don't want to taper for all of the races that I do because this will compromise my marathon, but I also don't want to race like crap all summer because this will kill my conifdence.
