People have said many times on this website that the Moroccans are notorious for cheating. I was just wondering if we can start a list of those born in Morocco who have cheated. We can add Ramzi now.

Mohammed Mourhit, who competed for Belgian, is the first to come to mind
Brahim Boulami, Adil Kaouch
There's another thread with probably 8 listed...one of the many many ramzi threads.
Ridouane Harroufi, Morocco
I would like to see this guy tested...lives in albuquerque.
Abdelatif Chemlal
Abdelhadi Habassa
Asmae Leghzaoui
I would like to see a list of American born cheats, but I realize it would probably cause the website to freeze.
Boutayeb (1988 Oly 10,000 champ)
Boutayeb (lapped/interfered with 1992 10,000 final)
Khalid Skah (1992 Oly 10,000 champ) DEFINITELY
Boulami (WR in steeple)
Jaouid Gharib (2008 Oly marathon silver)
Bulk of Morroccans running Euro circuit in 1990's
Fermin Cacho (1992 Oly 1500 champ) hmmm, hometown boy makes good at home Olympics....I don't think so.
The trained eye could tell their running form did not match the times they were running.
Remember - 1 year ago Bernie Madoff wasn't an embezzler....hey, I'm just saying.
Mohammed Mourhit was an amazing talent w/o PEDs. He had animal talent well before he went to Europe and started using. But it is amazing how much PEDs can improve your performance. Who was the Irish guy who was just barely a sub 30 10K guy who ran 27.X. Im guessing if you are a 14 flat guy, EPO or other will drop you up to 20-30 seconds. It would be interesting to see a legit 13:30 guy do a well documented and controlled use of EPO to see how much he improves.

Yup, Cacho took drugs that somehow made him and everyone he ran against in one race slow.

That was one of the most amazing last laps of any race I've ever seen. Close to 50 flat. He wasn't even winded. I remember thinking "Man, that guy's fit."
I remember thinking "how come everybody else let him win?"
How dare you make absurd generalizations about the arab world. I am an arab-american and I can tell you I was as outraged at the news of Ramzi's positive test.
IN NO WAY is being a good liar a valued personality characteristic in the arab world.
MY ARABIC FATHER has instilled certain qualities an athlete and person should possess in general.
1. Discipline
2. Hard Work
3. Integrity
4. Belief in oneself
5. Faith in oneself and gods plan (good or bad)
Being an Arab American it just sends a pain into my soul to see so many people smearing the arab race because of the Moroccan athletics federation.
How do you feel about this story?
"An 8-year-old Saudi girl has divorced her middle-aged husband after her father forced her to marry him last year in exchange for about $13,000, her lawyer said Thursday."
I have no idea what to say about that. Like you, me, and any sane people that sounds bizarre.
The American media does a splendid job in portraying the middle east in a dark aged light.
Go to the middle east now..saw lebanon, syria, egypt, turkey, and you'll fine maybe one half of the females heads covered, woman CHOOSING their spouses, and an overall kind people
I don't understand how you could really encompass the entirety of a people into such a narrow conception.
Cry me a river Morocco. It is what it is. There is nothing racist about making a list of Moroccan track and field cheats. Nothing is stopping any Moroccan from making a list of American track and field cheats.
No, this doesn't directly point at all Moroccan or Arab people being dishonest scumbags. What it does do though is suggest that relative to the number of world class Morrocan athletes, a hell of a lot of them seem to end up getting busted. THIS ALONE is more than sufficient evidence to suggest there is a systematic problem of cheating and dishonesty amongst Moroccan athletes and their associates.
Of humour is the fact that the best ever Moroccan drug cheat, Hichem El Guerrojou hasn't even been mentioned. You can't POSSIBLY, within the realms of simple f***ing common sense, believe that guy was running 3.43 for a mile and 5x1000m workouts in 2.20 with 3min rest without cheating.

Out of six billion people you say it's impossible? I can't speak for El Guerrouj, but more than one person has run 3:43 for the mile and I'm sure that, by the time the sun burns out, they won't be the only ones.

that irish guy, was Cathal Lombard,
went from 14.12 to 13.19.22 over 5k
and 30.35.96 to 28.05.07 over the space of 10weeks!!!
also came back after his ban to crush cragg in the irish xc champs,
then announced his retirement shortly after,
he is now a very successful barrister no joke!!
I believe El Gujuice is the name you were looking for.
