We aren't happy that a murder took place; we're happy the guy who we knew did it is going to fry.

Please stfu about Lagat being doped in '08. He needs to retire and go into acting and is also a mathematical and tactical genius if he is able to look that out of shape and lacking in power AND miss the final by a rat's ass hair. I don't think he is even capable of having such ugly form when he is healthy.
i gree with you.. now he is having a hard time getting low 3:50s if no braking 4 hahaha
Granted, the cheat Ramzi allowed others to move up and into medals, but what about the poor bastard that missed the last spot in the final because of him. No consolation prize here is there - Anything can happen in the finals !
Congratulations to Kiprop and Willis, and whoever the new bronze medalist is. I still feel for these guys. Kiprop was robbed of the elation that would come with crossing the finish line in first.

This is why Bernard lagat didn't make the finals.
This way he would not get caught
Is logic illegal where you are? I mean, are you really insinuating that Lagat takes drugs to run FASTER and then INTENTIONALLY runs SLOWLY so he doesn't get caught?
I demand a re-calculation of the Olympic Track Picks Competition.
This change of events moves me up.
I wuz robbed!!!!!!!!
congrats to Kiprop wrote:

I totally understand you.
It's never the same thing when an athlete receives a gold medal over half a year since the event. No one remembers.

Actually he is insinuating that when cheaters find out that what they are using is testable they back out. It is logical and I am positive that quite a few runners did exactly that at the Olympics.
Mehdi Baala from France gets bronze.
NOW HEAR THIS ! That's only the IOC, headed by a bunch of apes from Africa. China (the real owners of Nike) will have the B sample spiked.
REMEMBER THIS ! China is the new Mandarins. China rules the planet earth. China rules the universe !
NOW KOWTOW to China you White Chimpanzees !

As Alan Webb famously described it several years back, "Ramzi turned to me and was like, 'I'm too juiced to lose.' He wasn't even tired down the final stretch. When he passed me he was hardly breathing."
Actually Ramzi saw Webb scarfing down a big meal a few minutes before the race and said "With that goose in your tummy, I hope your bowels are not loose."

I'm seriously hoping that you're one of those people who refuses to register to vote because you don't want to serve on a jury. The possibility of someone with your obviously meager logical faculties participating in either one of those civic duties is truly frightening.

It is illogical. EVERYONE gets tested, not just finalists. Case in point: one of the CERA positives was a female 800m runner who didn't make it out the heats.
He has been 'caught' for doping now, but one big explanation for his jump in times between 2003 and 2004 is his status as a runner. His PR was in RABAT! He was a practice dummy (practice pacer) for Guerrouj until he retired. Ramzi was not the top man, so he never got the full training attention he could have until 2004.

Add to that the fact that he very rarely competed on the grand-prix circuit and it seems very obvious. Glad he got caught.

Would anyone with some good computer skills (not myself), tell me who was the fastest guy not to qualify for the Olympic Final?
That guy should be the most upset with Ramzi. Perhaps that fastest non-qualifier could have medalled.
It was not Webb, was it?
It was not Webb.
That's only what the IOC is accusing. There still has to be an independent investigation to examine the lab, chain of custody, etc. The B Sample has yet to be tested, and all factors examined. Both samples will certainly be retested a 2nd time in a separate lab on a different continent with Ramzi's attorneys and technicians present. It will be years before this issue is resolved.
