What temperature is it in London?
57º, according to weather.com
one thing to show women in later stages - but come on

Back of 10th, with the rest of the mortals.
thanks, probably smart....those guys are absolutely flying up front

Thanks...a bit jerky, but at least I can see the men
10 k in 28:30 -> sub 2:01 pace (!)
Meb 29:40
Announcer can't get Zersenay Tadese's name right...glad to know it's not just American announcers that can't do it
Meb in 17th, 70 seconds back of the leaders
Through 10k in 28.30. INSANE!!
How many of that leading group are going to crash and burn?
14:22 for the second 5km. SO they're not really slowing down, still incredibly fast
I see Ritz is with the second group who've not gone with that pace. Up front are Wanjiru, Tadese, both Moroccans, all the main guys. Ramaala is there - wishful thinking. He's going to run a 15km PB at this pace.
Ritz right at front of second pack (10th place)
tough to imagine them going through in 1:00:30 and having anything left to finish
Ritz at the front of lead group which includes Kifle, Meb Abshero
3 pace makers for that group, currently at 2.07 pace. Ritz exchanging words with Phil Wicks (British pacemaker). Ritz and Meb both looking easy.
Ritz went thru 10K at 29:30, so 1:00 off leaders.
2nd group running 2:07 pace.
Lead pack: 6th mile 4:42, 7th mile 4:44
Haile's WR-split for 10 k was 29:13 iirc.
Leading women hit half in 1:10:53. Pack is one minute behind.
London is slightly downhill the first half, but this pace is still insane.
Of course, I said that at Beijing, too

I guess most of them... or at least there goes any record attempt.
Try again in Berlin maybe.
