I will be spending three months this summer at altitude working and running. I think the lowest I'll be is 7,500 feet and be routinely around 9,500 ft occasionally above 10,000. I live at sea level and was wondering if anyone has done something like this for a summer and how you handled it. I heard it might be a good idea to get blood test before I go and check my iron level since anemia is common at altitude and iron is essential for oxygen carrying capacity.
Any recommendations or..warnings lol
