50 yrs old. Have run 2:25 as a pr when much younger. Qualified for Boston last year in a marathon at age 49, with a 2:50 on a hilly course. Committed to run Boston this year. I have had several set backs with injuries. I spent several weeks water running and on the elitpical due to injuries, within the last 6 weeks. I has several months prior to the injuries of 80-90 mpw, and ran in a local flat 5k at 16:50 in November. This week, I have been taking it easy, did a light track workout 4 days ago to see my fitness level, and ran 6x400 at :80 each with moderate effort and 200m jog between.
