1. Rupp lives in Eugene. That's how he gets away with it. You have no idea what you're talking about.
2. Not the only runner in history to have their own coach.
3. He does do some training with Oregon.
4. He paid for all expenses he thought he had to out of high school.
5. He skipped one absolutely meaningless xc meet against a bunch of community colleges because he had an injury concern. Considering he lost part of a season in his collegiate career to stepping in a hole, I fail to see how this is a big deal.
6. I didn't like the move either, but I'm not going to indict him over this. As far as I know Rupp thought the next qualifier would advance, but either way his coaches or Rupp should have known.
If you don't like Rupp fine, but your comments indicate you don't have any actual knowledge (and in fact have bad information) of his situation.
