Also, what kind of race will it be? Will it be slow like a few years ago when Smith won in 4:14 or whatever it was? My pick would be lee emanuel as long as he doesn't let anybody go like knoll at the mayo mile. His 3:54 DMR split was enough to convince me. Also, who has the fastest 800 of anybody in the field?

Probably right about Ulrey and Centro.
Kipyego definitely has time advantage over field w/o Berringer.
Not sure why you would pick Bowman over Kipyego, however. Felnagle beat her earlier. Just a hunch, probably, huh? Plus Kipyego only beat Felnagle at Tyson by 0.16 as Felnagle eased up.

Knoll certainly won't be the winner. After watching the Big Ten mile, it is clear that dude is a complete whiny girl. He'll probly once again get pwned by the field then cry about it and shove someone. Dude is a douche.

He's the # 1 seed, I'd say he has a really good chance.
and finished 4th at his conference meet. that's pretty poor. and there are a number of runner's seeded within a few tenths. dude's gonna get eaten alive.

I hate to say it, but when he ran that race (on an oversized track) it reminded me of one of those races where everything was clicking perfectly for him. I predict he goes in hoping to win, realizes it aint clicking perfectly this time and finishes 4th.

Providence and Oregon should have strong runs by their respected milers.
McCarthy and McLaren have been running strong on banked 200 meter tracks. Many of the others qualified on oversized tracks. I think their ability to prove themselves on the surface the championships will be on is relevant, and will help at least one "Friar" medal.
Centro and Acosta are coming out of a well-tuned system which caters to high-performances (Vin Lananna's coaching, facilities, Nike). I don't know how fit Acosta is... yet, I have no doubt these two are the best prepared milers toeing the line; however, preparation doesn't always guarantee success.
also team tatics will come into play
The two Arkansas runners, Ulrey and Phillips, are the only two in the field that have run their times on a 200m banked track. I don't know how much that will come into effect, but it definitely doesn't hurt.
