So half marathon pace for the 1st two then 10km pace for the last one. Nothing too crazy.
if your a 10km runner racing 800's and miles, that is what has to be done to prevent the racing from sharpening him up.
Rupp will have his eyes set on some very fast 5km 10km running in early outdoors. To do that he has to be doing alot of work right now, he can't be fresh and sharp racing these events.

his system has never ran under 4 before, and it highly unlikely that he, or anyone in history, has pulled of a sub-420 on the same day after their first sub-4.
maybe salazar made him do another 430 or so, but theres no way he did those intervals or broke 420 again after his first sub-4. all of this is only further anaerobic preparation that salazar is having him do to re-break his collegiate 10k record.
mostly likely, he went home and took an ice bath in his underwater treadmill after his first sub 4. salazar wouldnt dare overload his system this early in the season. not atleast until late may or so.
haha running a 4:20 after a sub 4:00 would be no problem, your an idiot, lots of badasses have closed a 5k or 10k in sub 4, your a 4:30 miler and no absolutll nothing about sub 4 or running fast

so there's no doubt in my mind that rupp will be able to break 27 at some point in his life. he's improved his mile pr by about 4 seconds in less than a year, on an indoor track. when was the last time he set 4 PR's(800m 1:49, mile 3:57, 3k 7:44, 5k 13:18) in the winter?
Wrong. He ran 4:01 in high school.
Well, that's much better than how he celebrated his Olympic Trials 2nd place finish this past summer. I saw him at the bar after the race--he walked right in to some friends who handed him a shot of something. He finished the shot and went right for a whale of a girl who he proceeded to mack on all night....
My money says that he bagged him self a blue whale.
