So does that make it automatic that Mack and Mwei will beat Braun again? No, it doesn't. It could, but these are my predictions. Picking a former mile national champion shouldn't be too crazy of a pick......
Graham was dealig with an injury from what I hear of, he has ran quik times back home, and with more and more traning under his belt I won't be surprised to see him do, very, very well.
De la cruz 5th may be a stretch, but with a teamate in the race I am sure that Martin will some sort of strategy for them both to do well.

Home of the runners that actually pay for school.
Whats more impressive a 4:02 H.S. guy that goes 3:57ish or a 4:29 H.S. guy who goes sub 4 in college?
genetics and equipment vs. hard work and dedication
you make the call.....I was a 425 mile guy in high school who ran 403 in college. Only recruited by D2 and NAIA and only a few, total. Kicked alot of D1 ass too. Our scholarships were only tuition and books.
do you realize how many D1 guys are on partial scholarships or walk-ons?
Nearly all of them.
Rare is the D1 guy that gets a complete, full ride. Maybe 10% of the NCAA, and I think even that is generous.
yeah if i had to live in alamosa id talk my team up all day too but id try not to make myself look so desperatly gay for fast asc runners
that sounds like keith gill, and if thats so he's a pretty good guy, i got the chance to race against him and he doesn't seem to be vary arrogant or cocky
Gill ran faster than that in hs. Also, I think that he almost went to Brown.
Could be Michael Pierce or Aaron Braun or Mack.
Probably Damon Martin. The man is greedy! Go for that title man! Run Braun's legs into bloody stumps!!

And you are simply a nameless troll. Are you critical of all track programs trying to place high at national meets? You obviously know very little about Coach Martin or Aaron Braun. I guarantee that Braun will want to do everything he can to help the team.
Martin kills his runners. I ran for the guy and he is crazy.
After you're done at Adams= you're done running
Baby times for baby places.

Name, pr's? Insecure about your own inadequacies as a runner/person?
Those Adams guys and girls are brain washed. it's really sad.
If the NCAA Compliance Office did an audit at Adams State then it would make ACU and St. Augustine's look spotless.
Anyone can get into school at Adams State, it's open enrollment. The main reason the school exists is for sports. There was just an article posted on-line awhile back here that they are trying to add more sports to increase enrollment and there is pressure to cut funding from the state of Colorado. All of this is public knowledge via the media.
Take away the 12.6 full men's and 12.6 full women's scholarships for xc/track plus whatever else they give on the side and what you have left in Alamosa is nothing. In the entire NCAA II there might be 3-4 schools max who are fully-funded.
asc sure looked pretty dead at conference last weekend and so did western, both schools seem to be destroying their top runners... no excuses for not running well at conference cause it's so close to nationals you gotta be feeling fast by then or your done
Ashland FTW
Would have helped if the distance crew could have gotten some representation there.
shiga shiga shiga, what can we say about the DII bill of the cat. I say he can win only th wheel of truth. I say this from Colorado to the coast of New York! Look for the fat ass guy to bring them in like weeeeeeeeeping little boys.

Western has a decathlete as a head coach. They think everyone should do as many events as possible for the team. Each year they qualify less and less distance runners for Nationals. Most of their people are injured or fried out. All of the top talent transfered or has not improved. They will not be a powerhouse again under this regime of coaches.
