How can you tell by that video that she could go faster? Looked pretty tired to me.
Amazing time though.
Won by a minute, ran by herself, strong finish, it's indoor... :)

Then you've never hung around jenny for more then 5min!
I have, as a matter of fact
Clearly you haven't...those that knew her in high school will atest to her cockiness. She has gotten better, but still very full of herself.
Better than a good triathlete!
How would you possibly be in a position to know what "clearly I haven't?" I have, on several occasions.
Guys like you and "Great..." are real princes. We get through at least 15 posts of people saluting her achievement and you have to come in with your character assassinations. How proud you must be.

I don't know who you are but I went to high school with Jenny. I assure you she wasn't cocky, she was confident, and had a damn good reason to be confident. Jenny is one of the nicest, most genuine person you will find. I used to doubt her ability, but after last year, I know she is destined for greatness. Get your facts straight before posting on an annonymous message board. I guess this means she is really good now that people are bashing her on LetsRun.
Right. Now she's "selfish." I guess that explains why, when almost everyone is telling her she should have turned pro already, she's competing for the University of Colorado.

She redshirted because she didn't want to face Sally Kip!! How selfish
Ugh, no kidding. Too bad she didn't have a legitimate reason such as racing through the middle of August.
Sally didn't run in Beijing, Jenny did. nuf said
she will face sally in 2 weeks at big 12's. and then she will face her again at ncaa's.

First I never said she wasn't good or destined to greatness, because she is faster then I am and most likely I will ever be. She is a nice person and is very religious but to deny that she isn't all about herself is just false. I live in Boulder and every time I have the pleasure of being near her, all I hear is me... me... me. Hey I have the right to my opinion so you can believe whatever you want.
you say you've been near her....
have you actually met her or had a conversation with her or just been close by? sounds like you've never talked to her so you aren't one to judge. i sense a bit of jealousy coming from you, especially based upon your first sentence.
None of the interviews I've read with her or the videos I've seen at flotrack show any severe level of self-involvement. So am I now going to be told she just behaves herself for the media?

I can't comment on Barringer just because I don't have muchexperience with her, but this was exactly the case with Marion Jones. She could be a darling for media or the crowds but as soon as the camera was, she was a total bitch.
No, trust me, people are just looking for things to hate about her. A lot of this started when people took her "talented" comment (after her last 3k) the wrong way.
She is definitely happy with her performances, but who wouldn't be? She gets excited in interviews, is very well spoken, and some take it the wrong way. In person she is every bit as nice and sincere as she is on camera.
People yell and scream at her for no reason when we trip them up and wag our tails happily.
Just because she lets us run off the leash is no reason to get all upset, I mean those laws are meant for everyone else but not for our Jenny.
She's the best! And if you don't think so just ask her, she'll tell you!

If I was so jealous do you think I would be willing to come on here and admit that I get beaten by a girl? Once again she is a nice girl. Great runner. She knows how to handle herself for the media but honestly pull anyone off the team and ask their if she is coincided and most will agree.
