You're waffling, flip-flopping.
we will see what happens at Worlds...and just leave it at that...I hope he is able to run under 27:05 so he can place in the top 5...we will see if Salazar+Nike can produce a MALE 10km runner who can medal or place top 5..................... ........if not "Nike Zoom Fairy Prancer" is going to have a field day heckling all the Rupp beleivers

What the hell are you talking about?
Hi Donnie,
Yes - I semiagree with what your stating but the last part is hard to swallow since Nike supports him very well better than most pro athletes who have already graduated. Nike would not do this unless they plan on marketing him as the next great US runner.
This is why Rupp elicits such a strong reaction. He is well taken care of versus other elite runners who are barely squeaking by.... Foe example...Nike supports Rupp by paying Salazar coaching salary and allowing Rupp use of Nike owned Human Performance Lab, Nike Track, Hypoxico/CAT Altitude Chamber, AlterG, pressuring Vin to allow Salazar to coach Rupp at Univ of Oregeon (an unusual arrangement that would not be tolerated at other NCAA schools), Nike altitude running camps in Utah and etc....
Now you're disingenuous.
he won cross this year....i'd have to say it's pretty respectable to finish 2nd to a world leader and set a new american record...where would you have finished?? oh, yea....you probably wouldn't have made the cut for the race....
Rupp throws down the times... I give him credit for that... and he was the top american finisher in the olympic 10k if I'm not mistaken... quality stuff... Mad respect IMO...
Anybody who wants to hate on him... go for it because I have a feeling that Indoor 5k record will not stand for another 22 years...
GF FTW
People always compare Rupp to Pre, when in reality, Rupp would kick the shit out of Pre on the track whether you like him or not.

That and $4 will get you a latte.

That's a pretty bold statement considering Pre was cut down in the midst of his prime. AND he didn't have anyone to really chase in the US back in the day. Rupp has beaten his PR's but you can't bet against Pre just based on statistics he had a whole lot of... oh god what am I looking for... oh yes. TESTICULAR FORTITUDE!
not saying Rupp doesn't have any. Just saying Pre had some to spare.
the OP is right, Rupp has no guts what so ever. He still has yet to win the big one and will never medal in the OG or WC. He should just quit now.

Either you´re a troll or an absolute retard. It would have been fun to watch Kenny B lap Pre in the 10k.
Is there any full race video of Rupp's 10k AR?
