True, he could be telling the truth. Or he could be lying about her looks. We may never know unless he posts a pic :o)
I've always thought of myself as a boob man rather than an ass man, but I take your point.
I don't see how playing video games makes one immature.
I'm guessing that you're a girl who is jealous of the lack of attention he has for you.

I honestly can't think of a more frivolous use of time than playing video games. There will always be a place in my heart for old school Zelda and shit like that but I could never justify pissing my life away on World of Warcraft and crap like that. Your minutes on this earth are ticking away and I just don't see how anyone can justify squander their existence in an imaginary fantasy world.
Lots wrong with this post (some right).
1) Men in their 20s aren't necessarily grown.
2) Who says that video game playing has to end at a certain point? What is that point?
3) I agree that hours of your time every day is a bit much (World of Warcraft people need to get a life), but some brain downtime is acceptable.
4) The Wii is super fun; I don't care how old you are. Also, there are some GREAT online games at kongregate.com, miniclip.com, addictinggames.com, teagames.com and others. Desktop Tower Defense was my favorite for a while, and this week I'm digging Mushroom Revolution --
http://www.playedonline.com/game/59001/Mushroom-Revolution.html-- I can already beat all the levels. Now I'm just trying different ways to beat the levels. 20-30 minutes a day of mindless video games never hurt anyone.
The answer is they are fun. Dumbass...
the thing is....running positively affects one's physical health, thus adding quality years to one's life....those who sit on their rears playing W of W all day (assuming they don't exercise much) will likely develop health problems at younger ages and are really accomplishing nothing of significance while playing....it probably is on the same level as watching a favorite television show...however, at least with a television show, you kind of get some sort of pop culture knowledge....btw, I only watch one hour of tv/week most weeks, so I'm not advocating watching excesssive television either....anyway, I don't plan on taking up video games until I'm sitting in a nursing home or something and can't do anything else...life really does slip by quickly....I'm only in my twenties, but I'm already realizing this.....I want to use my youthful vitality to accomplish things in life, not see how well I can play W of W.....
Hate to admit, but I enjoy playing Guitar Hero. The new one has pretty good music. Only play when I have free time, which is not often as I have a little one.
Well, this thread has shown that in addition to most letsrunners being utter social retards, which has been established many times, that letsrunners are also huge geeks who have piss poor reading comprehension. It's quite apparent that the op is targetting gamers who play video games excessively, which *surprise*, 99.9999999% of WoW players do. No one ever plays WoW in moderation, ever. It's either 12 hours a day or nothing. There is nothing wrong with playing a game for a few hours a week,a assuming it's not getting in the way of other priorities. However, that's not what he's talking about.

Tell me how pop culture knowledge will benefit you in life.
Actually the Bills can be stopped by a high powered pass offense due to their weak secondary. Oilers and 49ers give them fits. Giants are also a top team on the game but I too prefer Buffalo.
Oh yeah, I ran 80 miles last week so sorry to those of you who say I'm wasting away from playing TSB.

You think watching hours of sports or reality shows or sitcoms is any better? Video games is pretty low on the list but at least you're actively doing something.
QFT, but I see the OP's point. I think video games are a great pastime, but I played sooooo much as a kid/teen that I've personally moved on, for the most part. A lightbulb moment was when I was playing Guitar Hero and I realized that I was very frustrated that I couldn't play Barracuda properly even though I could have picked up the guitar and, being an accomplished guitarist in real life, figured out the entire song by ear in a matter of minutes, at most.
Real sports and real music > Madden and Guitar Hero

Wrong.

Exactly. Most people watch TV 2-3 hours/day. Is that any better?

Define "beautiful." If she's with you, I bet she's not very nice looking.Or he could be telling the truth, in which case you are a jerk.
Either way the dude is a douchebag who thinks everyone should live the way he thinks is right. He probably watches hours of sports a week and dumps on people who do something similar(except playing video games actually requires a level of skill, as opposed to staring at other people doing something on a screen) what an idiot. Get a life loser and stop hating on people who are happy. Maybe you'll be a little less miserable.

This has just been eating at you for the last 8 years...
Hey you can say ass now?
The dark ages between 2009 and now where the autocensor wouldn't let you say ass have apparently ended. That's a good enough reason to revive this old ass thread.
Obama said I'm an adult child until I'm 26. So I'll play my video games 10 hours a day until then.
