Well, tonight was a glorious night. My wife and I went to the Univ. of OR womens basketball game against U. of Montana. I couldnot believe it but Bill and Marsha McChesney were in the sits right behind me. Bill senior (age 76) that is. He told us so many stories you would just be amazed. He talked about his athtletic sons. Three of them were incredible runners (slowest I think he said was 4:07). He talked about how Pre. cussed Bill senior out when an article was printed in the Eugene Registar Guard newspaper about Billy (junior) being the next Prefontaine. He said Pre was an arrogant ass, and then laughed about the thought of Pre giving a little Scotch-Irish a hard time. He talked about how Billy and Tom died...so sad. He discussed training with me and ideas that he discussed with Bill Dellinger and Matt Centrowitz. I could go on for an hour. If you ever go the world Veteran's Games for T & F, I hope you stop to say his to Bill and Marsha. He said he gets up every morning a goes for an 8 mile run, still. Wow, they are my heroes. So full of life, so obviously fit and happy!!! I am gone on the road tomorrow, so I will catch you later, friends. Tinman
