Thanks for listing the Jury of Appeals. Assuming Cornell protested, then these three did not overrule the meet referee, I presume. I wonder how that conversation between the Cornell coaches and the Jury turned out. I can't imagine it not occuring without some priceless words from Harry Groves.
In terms of Harvard, I think everyone knew that with just an ounce of serious recruiting the team was going to improve. Coaches Wood, Lake (and Taylor ?) wouldn't have applied for the job unless they knew they would be able to awaken the sleeping bear. Nice work nonetheless - its nice to get out of the cellar.
