Ended the last two weeks of this year injured and still am, not a good start into 2009.

A couple injuries prevented any real consistent training. I'm finally healthy so things are looking up for 09.
08 total - 1,085 miles
I'd be happy with ~2,000 or so in 09. Happy New Year everyone.
1,911. Lowest year in 3 years. Ran half-heartedly in the winter/spring, travelled all of May, got serious and did a lot of miles in Aug. and Sept. ran Chicago, and have been getting over the aches and pains of that race ever since. A strange year...
5471 for 2008. Hoping to use as a springboard into the new year.
3150 assuming I get a solid double in later.
~3,500
includes 11 weeks missed due to injury...
Do you keep track of these totals in a running log (handwritten) or online?
I'm surprised at how exact some of your totals are. I've wanted to keep better track of my mileage but I worry that being so calculated towards my running will make it more monotonous.
2947 Km = 1831 miles
(one month injured with very low mileage)
2488
highest ever, by far. 2009 to be 3200+ hopes. g'luck all
1722 miles
2863-not quite 3k-also injured, tight hips as an appetizer, hip/hamstring injury for an entree with a possible sports hernia for desert. Did a couple of stupid workouts. I needed a couple weeks off from running anyway.
But cross training like a fiend and rehabbing the shit out of it, and feel better. Should be able to roll when I get back to school, provided this sports hernia is minor and doesn't require surgery.
2944. Was on track to eclipse the 3000 mark but got sick last week and recorded a string of zeros for too many days.
~ 2100
2521.7
2771.35 - very happy about it too (46 year old 5 year running neophyle)! I don't keep track of the decimal place in my everyday running, that is from races!
1,500...down from 3,000 the year before. mono hurts
767.6 miles, pretty happy with that number.
3886. My 4th highest total. 120 miles more then last year.

I've recorded every mile I've run since I began running in 1975. Up until 1995 in handwritten book, after that on an Excel spreadsheet. Just something I started doing when I started running and have never stopped. Why quit now?
I hit 3000 miles last night...took today off.
Finished the year today by running 11 miles in the snow. it was very cold and windy and dangerous with the cars but it is good to get psychologically tougher by doing this. Nevertheless, did over 3,800 miles this year and the results have been good. Hopefully next year, I'll keep it up and do better.
