i have ran in both Nike and footlocker, Nike was way better.
nike has the slogan "the ultimate xc experience," and it definitely was.
there is no atmosphere to footlocker at all, it just seems like a regular cross country meet in the middle of the season, except it's a just a little colder and a little later.
when i was at footlocker, they didn't even have apparel for sale. Nike had a ton of stuff, and that stuff was awesome.
i think xc is more about the team anyway, not the individual. Nike puts more emphasis on this. every team has a uniform, and it gives the meet a better feel and atmosphere.
footlocker barely had any atmosphere at all, and had a race start every 30 minutes for 5 hours, which was annoying, so you really couldn't run on the course before. overall, Nike definitely knows how to run a xc meet wayy better than footlocker.
