Fila running shoes were ok. They weren't great, but they weren't bad. However, I believe they've discontinued their running line.

They're so good that Fila stopped making running shoes only a couple of years after they started.
Worst pair of running shoes I was ever dumb enough to buy were FILA. I wore them once and immediately threw them out. The return policy was void on discounted crap items like these abysmal shoes.
I liked the Flow Asylum a lot, it was a more comfortable (no forefoot overlays) and more streamlined Asics 2130, Brooks Adrenaline, or Nike Structure. Solid training shoe, sweet ride.
I like the Fila Corsa Otto. Lightweight. A decently wide toebox without all the constricting cosmetic stripes and toe protectors. It's only 7.5 ounces in size 8.5. Hard to find now. They fit large. I normally wear a 9.5, but I wear an 8.5 in the Otto.
They're only $29 here, but they may not have your size left.
