How durable of the Lunar Trainer? Will they hold up on trails?

The Supernova Cushion replacement called the Glide will be out soon. From what I have seen it looks like the best adi shoe for years. I've ran in some of the promotion samples and they are really light and responsive but still good for longer slow runs.
You could always cut grooves into the bottoms of your shoes ot amke them more flexible, as Nobby suggests.
Teva makes really light and flexible trail shoes. I think they're called the X-1. Very comfortable, but not enough cushioning for me (180lbs) on the road.
As for road shoes, yeah, go with the Mizuno Wave Riders.
Try the kumates
what are those?
The Luna trainers are the best shoe I've ever worn. I use them for everything!!! Retired my first pair to the trails after 350 miles and although I wouldn't consider myself a hard core trail runner they are doing great.
