I am sure I will get slammed, but I will ask anyway. I want to measure a few of my runs and do not want to buy a GPS. Has anybody tried using an iPhone with either RunKeeper or iMapMy Run? I'd like to know which one is more accurate.

The iPhone GPS is worthless, that's all I know.
you have to keep the app on the entire time. if the phone rings or you play music during the run it wont work.
I got the app when they went free, and I'm glad I waited. I went for an 11.5 mile run, as per my Garmin, but RunKeeper came up short by over a half mile. I'm guessing it's becasue it lost track, and some of that could be with limitations in the 2.1 firmware. There's supposed to be GPS updates in the 2.2 firmware that will also open up turn by turn navigation for third party developers. These upgrades were supposed to be in 2.1, but they weren't ready by the June release date.
