And no one was criticizing Ramzi. Doug Burke was just saying that the guy may be even better at intervals than actual races, some people are. I have no idea if that's true, but that's what he's saying, okay? It's really not a big deal

thank you, my point exactly, some people just need to appreciate that some people may do more impressive things outside the olympics... it doesn't mean they deserve olympic recognition for it.
I agree, that session was far more impressive than his Olympic Gold.
Now we know
ramzi probably lowered his dosage of CERA around the Olympics last year due to the testing he knew he was going to face. The period 6 months before the Olympics was probably when he was doped to the gills and able to do these phenomenal workouts. I'm sure some of these guys almost P.R. in practice cause they are so juiced up when they know they won;t be testd for months. just food for thought.
Ramzi was framed. I read it somewhere on the net.

No world class runner "knows he won´t be tested for months". Out of competition testing started in 1988.
There was also no test for CERA at the games so he would not have cut back because he figured there was no way he could get caught for something they were not testing for. The tests were done later once WADA had developed a test with help from Roche the maker of CERA.
Why would someone dope to do crazy workouts, and then go back to "normal" to compete. It's amazing how many people buy into the misleading drug info put out by the pharmacautical corporations, broadcast through their corporation owned media. It's simply a scam to get you all to believe in the magic of drugs that don't work.
Meanwhile, while most of you have been mesmerized and not paying attention, the drug corporations have been taking over the sport of athletics.

This post is absolute idiocy.
Because EPO etc. let you train harder, attaining a higher level of fitness. You post is absolutely the dumbest thing I've read all week. What evidence do you have that these drugs "don't work"? Just your own lunacy? Well okay, it is my opinion that Barack Obama is in fact a velociraptor that escaped from Jurassic Park. That's what I believe, so there.
Hasn't Canova said here that drugs don't work; why would he say such stuff?
and there is no reason to believe his statement. Being a successful coach doesn't make him an expert in chemistry.

90% of J.R.'s posts are absolute idiocy, but then there are that 10% that are spot on. He is either a troll, a genius or a just a guy who very occasionally gets it right. Either way, most of the time I ignore his posts as he is an absolute toolbag.
Yea, he is also the guy who defended the Chinese women of the 90's and their records as being clean. He sure knows a lot about drugs....
would whoever the douchebag is who railed on me for pointing out the obvious about Ramzi early on in the thread like to apologize?
or are you one of these "nobody is doping unless they test positive" dumbshits?
you bet cha wrote:

Newcomer here. But they should apologize to you. As long as you also point out the same for KB and Geb who are in fact trained by two of the dirtiest people in athletics, although everyone is too politically correct to say so.
of course they're dirty too.
only morons think otherwise.
but their handlers are smart enough to keep them passing tests, so many (most?) people actually believe they're clean.
so dumb.
he was doped though

It's also easier if you're a superior talent who's had a tought childhood and not some namby-pamby westerner who grew up being bused to school, playing Nintendo and drowning in Big Macs.
How did this apologism work out for you?
