This great event happened in Nashville in the Boulevard Bolt. It's a little 5k run in Belle Meade, a rather swanky part of Nashville. I've run this before but this was the first year I decided to do it as a bandit.
I have to say that even though it was freezing cold, I've never had a more liberating feeling on a run. If you have considered or are considering adding a little spice to your running and finding a nice, personal thrill this is it!
A couple of buddies of mine run with the Nashville Striders. They saw me and I thought they were going to give me shit. I told one of the guys what was up right before the start and he thought it was pretty cool, thanks to the fact that he also saw that thread on here.
I plan on making this a regular part of my running. I'm also open to any suggestions on how to make this an even better experience. I'm rather proud of it and plan on getting more buddies of mine to try it too. I know some of you guys will bitch and moan about this but chances are you want to do the same thing but are just too cowardly to try it.
I do need to take advantage of getting free stuff at the end. That is the next goal I plan to satisfy. So thanks to those who encouraged me.
