I'm bored with the 2130. I have had the 2100, 2110, 2120, and now the 2130. Are there any shoes out there that the shoe geeks on the board could recommend?

Tired of the 2130, the 2140 just came out. Give it a shot
i used to run in that series and switched to the new nike structure triax it worked for me, no clue if you'd like it.
The 2140 really doesn't seem that different from the previous models. I am bored with the 2130. I have heard some good things about the Nike Triax though. I am open to more suggestions.
Saucony Tangent 3s are nice.
i like the niks because they have good heel support and a lot of good cush.
ps, i am an EXTREME proternator.
You're a WHAT???
Adidas Supernova Classic and Adidas Supernova Sequence
Looks a little light-weight. How has it handled the mileage?
the Saucony Guide is very similar to the 2130...but honestly, if you haven't had any problems, why mess around?
nike shox!!!
wtf do you mean you're bored with it?? since when do people buy running shoes based on whether it gives you a woody or not?
If the shoe works for you, it can handle your mileage, and you haven't had injury issues with it, why on earth would you want to change it?
maybe you can write a letter to asics and have them throw a gnarly racing stripe down the middle to make the shoe more exciting for you.

Light-weight is in the eyes of the beholder. I was training in the Banditos and can get around 400 miles out of them. For winter, with much of my running on the roads due to snow, I wanted something a bit bulkier. I haven't run in them yet, just got them Monday and have walked in them. They feel great--really as built up as the 2120's were just lighter and more form fitting to the feet. I am really impressed by them.
You're bored with a training shoe? Wow, you are expecting way too much from a shoe if you expect it to provide entertainment.
Just bought the Saucony Omni Progrid today. Similar to the 2120 (which I had earlier this year) but with more support and narrower heel but wider toe box.
I concur! The ProGrid Guide (updated this past summer) has become a great alternative to the 2130. The fit is very similar with nice width in the toebox, snug, contoured arch, and secure heel. It is, perhaps, just a little lighter and more flexible, but overall, very similar.
Otherwise, the Nike Structure is also very similar.

Couldn't agree more, the new Progrid Guide is fantastic.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
