I just paced a friend in the Chicago Marathon a week ago, without pushing myself overly hard--between 3:00-3:10. I was sore for a few days afterward just because of the distance. I took last week easy and ran about 20 miles total, all very easy effort.
So, where can I go from here? I want to get back hitting about 60-70 mile weeks ASAP and run some races in a few weeks. What's the best way of getting there while minimizing risk of injury? Take another week easy, or start ramping up mileage and running hard again?
