Curently, I just do an easy miles every Friday. I know that recovery is important, but it seems like a shame to essentially waste a day of training, when I see lots of other people putting in good mileage every day. I'll still take the occasional rest day, but I'm pondering getting rid of the weekly day of rest. Is this a good plan? Do other people take a rest day? This just seems like such an easy way to get in a few more miles each week.
