And doung something on your own requires that you actually respect and LIKE your customers. You seem incapable of any of these.
I am sick and tired of people talking about teachers like they should be SAINTS and should be perfect and if they aren't, its a travesty! I cared about my students and 'LIKE' them. As did the OP. I never had a bad intention and tried my hardest at the job. But after three years, I was overworked, exhausted, had no social life, no hobbies, would work into the evenings, weekends, summers, and its just not sustainable, for anyone. Unless maybe they have more energy than the energizer bunny! So if I wasn't an amazing teacher in the end, its not because I didn't care about the students- I was just burnt out! So now I too am looking for a new job.
But please, people that pick on teachers who are tired, that is just pathetic. Please stop. Most teachers work much harder than the majority of people.
