Quick info on rHGH that I know about:
Platt is right that the kind of rHGH that pro athletes use is very expensive and injectable, and that there are many products that claim to be an rHGH equivalent but are really not and probably could be sued for saying so. Then there are many HGH ?precursors? (is the word that I think they use) that are supposed to help you body produce more of its own HGH. I have heard that these may work a little bit (but not probably too much). Those are definitely over the counter.
But recently I DID read about a product that supposed has a special patent that has a very small amount of real rHGH in it. (since it is so small, I guess they have allowed it as a non-prescription product). They claim that this small amount encourage your body to produce its own HGH. The claim is (and they have a few studies to back it up that I read and looked legit) is based on the very old and often disputed concept of Homeopathy which claims: small very diluted amounts of a drug can produce positive results in the body, and no side effects. So this diluted rHGH helps your produce more rHGH, and supposedly have no side effects (no long term studies obviously). BOTTOM LINE: there is at least one real rHGH over the counter formula, which seems to really work. Most others are BS, but some of the precursors might work a little.
